Sam's First Day of "School"

Well, this certainly wasn't easy on either of us!But no tears - just some clinging!

I wish it was HER "club"!!!

I can't remember when this started, but Sam refers to "Sam's Club" as HER Club! So we're on our way there today, and Sam says "Mommy, you know everyone can go to MY club?" Of course I play along.... then she says "I will share my club!" Isn't she the sweetest.... ha ha.

Not one, but TWO!

So, I go to pick Emma up from school today, and as she jumps in the truck - she hands me a tooth!!! Not having a clue what this little, white thing is.... it falls off my hand, and I can't find it!!! Then as I'm looking at her bloody mouth (poor thing), I notice that there are 2 holes!?!?! Apparently, this all happened as she was walking to the truck, so she was really confused. She now thinks the second tooth fell on the ground. HOW CAN THE TOOTH FAIRY COME IF WE HAVE NO TEETH? I guess it's a good thing that she has no clue who the tooth fairy is, huh? LOL!!! I just can't believe we do not have her first lost teeth! :( I'm bummed.

Let the games begin!

Emma had her first soccer practice this past Thursday, and her first "game" today! Game is in quotes, because they only play 3-on-3 and the kids mostly fall on the ground more than kick the ball. But it's really fun to watch! ;)

For the first half of the game, Emma just ran around the field following the crowd, following the ball. After I had a little chat with her (the coaches never even explained to them the object of the game), she came out of her shell for the second half and even scored a goal!!! I think she's really going to like soccer, and be pretty good, too. :)
