Emma's First Day of Kindergarten

I'll just start out with the pictures!

Well, we missed the bus, because it was EARLY! But Emma had a great first day of school. She rode the bus home and loves it so much, she won't let me drive her to school anymore!

I was able to capture the moment on the second day, though!

Emma's favorite thing about school is "everything". "Everything is so much fun," she tells me. And there is such a "big story" to tell me every day, that it has to wait until we get home from the bus stop! Emma loves buying lunch at school, suprisingly! So I think she already has me beat from all 13 years in school - I NEVER bought lunch at school!

My new blog

So I have tried several different formats to get pictures and updates to my friends and family.... and have not been totally happy with any of them. This is the next attempt to find something that I like, and is easy for everyone involved! Let's hope this one sticks... LOL!!! :)

Happy Birthday to me

My big birthday present was spending the weekend husband- & kid-less at Cornwall Mountain Hunting Club (Curt's camp)in PA!!!! Doing a lot of "nothing" with Jill, Curt, Zak, Angela, Dan & Krista was very relaxing, and much needed. Though I didn't get to see a bear, I did see some turkey, grouse and lots of deer.
